What a crazy, busy, super fun week! With one week left until our big move (more on that next week), the kids and I packed in the activities to take advantage of the great weather and our free time. On Monday we took a road trip to a far northwest suburb to see our good friends, Harper, Harrison, and Campbell, who we hadn't seen since they left the city in March. Ella and Harper share the same birthday and have been friends since they were 18 months old. Despite the distance and time that's passed, they both speak of the other often, and truly missed each other. It was so much fun to see them reunited! Tuesday was spent at the zoo with our friends and neighbors, Anna and Andrew. Wednesday was a very big day for our family - I had my 20-week appointment (all looks good!), and that night we revealed via cake that we're having a baby girl! Ella had been convinced that it was a girl all along, and was very excited to see it in pink frosting. Her words, "I can't believe my eyes, I always wanted a baby girl!" Thursday was a bittersweet day - our last one spent as neighbors with Anna and Andrew. They are great friends that we spend a lot of time with, and we'll miss seeing them every day. Friday was a day of errands and doctor appointments. Jack had his 30-month check-up and finally hit the 20th percentile for weight. He's a healthy, growing boy! Saturday and Sunday were spent packing, with trips to the park and a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese squeezed in. We have another crazy week coming up, likely with less photos, but I'll try to post soon!
