Maeve's 1st Birthday!

Our baby is one! Maeve's first birthday was last Friday, and we celebrated with a family party on Saturday. She loved her cake, presents, and mostly, all of the love and attention she received. We're so glad so many family members could make the trip to celebrate our sweet baby girl!

Ella was "special person" last week at school and was so excited! She got to tell her class all about herself.

Go Cubs!

October is shaping up to be a pretty great month, and this week we celebrated Jeritt's birthday, with plenty of treats, of course. We also attended the annual Roscoe Village Halloween parade. It was a gorgeous fall day, and the kids loved dressing up and trick-or-treating. Hopefully we'll get nice weather on Halloween! Oh yeah, and finally, go Cubs go!

Ella's school held a walk-a-thon this week. Her class was called the Room 102 Frogs.
She did a great job running and walking around the track!

Maeve enjoyed the snacks.

Enjoying Dad's birthday treats.

Happy birthday, Jeritt!

My little shopper.

A little hair trim.

Jeritt's ice cream cake. Ella wrote "Happy Birthday Dad." It's tough to do in icing.

The cutest ghost ever.

A seriously scary witch.

And our little lamb.

Last year I attended this quite pregnant, and Maeve was born a few days later. What a difference a year makes.
