While we were back in Iowa last week, I took advantage of the beautiful landscape and my photography assistant (thanks, Grandma!) to take some photos of the kids. It's something I'd wanted to do all summer, and I think we ended up with a few winners.

Summer in Iowa
With back-to-back Iowa weddings, the kids and I ended up spending more than a week back home, with Jeritt joining us on the weekends. As usual, we packed it in with both sides of the family, friends, and plenty of fun.
We got our new ride just in time for the road trip. Yes, we are now an official minivan family.
Fishing at Paradise Pond.
What it looks like when Jeritt applies sunscreen.
He may have actually eaten it if we'd have let him.
When you decide to run into the water, you end up without pants.
While shopping for shoes, Ella tells me, "Every time I see beautiful shoes, I just want 'em."
What a man - using his power tools.
Feeding chickens on the farm.
Picking carrots from Grandma and Papa's garden.
Petting the kittens with Uncle Dan.
Apples fresh from the tree.
Check out the ear tag.
Ella was the lucky winner for a tractor ride with Uncle Don.
City boy loves the farm.
Helping Grandma and Papa make home made ice cream.
Snuggles with G.G.
Jack the Dragon.

Super Girl to the rescue!
More fishing pics from the weekend in Minnesota.
A girl who loves worms almost as much as she loves princesses.
A pottery lesson from our friend, Bill.
For some reason this cat kept coming back to her.
Ella tried to smuggle kittens into the car.
