The weather didn't cooperate this week so we didn't get out as much as we would have liked but we made do at home with some dress up and piano playing. Thankfully the weekend weather was a little bit better. Liz took a trip to Minneapolis to visit her good friend so it was just the three amigos this weekend. We coined a new term called "Daddy Day" this weekend. This basically means Scooters, Sweet Mandy B's, parks and of course morning trips to Starbucks. Ella was most excited about the first two. Despite the rainy and windy weather on Saturday, we still were able to stay busy. We hung out at Starbucks and Golfsmith during the morning and then braved the weather and went to Pumpkin Fest at the park near our house. We also made a Scooters run on Saturday despite the cold weather as Ella quickly pointed out that we could simply sit inside and eat our ice cream. Sunday was another fun-filled day with 2 park trips, Starbucks, and soccer practice. We finished the weekend with a trip to Sweet Mandy Bs on Sunday afternoon, welcoming Liz home with her favorite sweet treat.
