Family Time

It was a jammed-pack week. We started with a trip to Minnesota for a cabin weekend with my family and ended with the annual Kunde family reunion. In the middle, Dan, Jamie, and Hattie came to visit us for a couple of days. So much fun family time!

These big kids had a blast at camp for a week!

Smelling wildflowers while Ella and Jack had their golf lesson.

Jack asked for a "vent" when he got his face painted at camp.

Maeve and I enjoyed our week together while the big kids were at camp. One of the mornings we met Abbie at the city farmer's market.

Watering the garden at the zoo.

Watching seals at the zoo.

Ella's camp face paint was a puppy, of course.

Snorkeling in the pool.

Jack's space helmet at camp.

Ella made some great friends and loved her counselor.

Pre-seven a.m. wake-up call. This smile does not capture how excited Maeve was.

We arrived in Minnesota for a vacay with my family!

Checking out the Root River.

Reunited with our cousins, and it feels so good!

Sweaty girls!

Playing in the river.

Jack and Maeve had a staring contest.
Fingers crossed we have a golfer...

Jack was very impressed with the ledge he built for the animals.

Zoo trip with Danny, Jamie, and Hattie. Gorillas are awesome.

A selfie by Ella.

A Sunday morning tower-building contest.

Jack won .

Fun at the Kunde reunion.

Out of order here. This was en route to Minnesota.

Papa and Maya.

Erin and Alice.

Poor sick baby.

Nights around the camp fire.

Jack begged me to let him use his own money to buy a dryer vent. I failed to check to see how long it was...

Babes on a blanket!

Sharing ice cream.

Uncle Jeritt and Alice.

The beginning of our bike ride.

The end...

He was very interested in the cabin's pipes.

The dueling piano partners.

Family photo. What a great trip!

Pool Days!

What a great week! We continued our tradition from last summer, and Jack and Ella each enjoyed an afternoon solo with Mom. Don't worry, Maeve gets her alone time this entire week, while the big kids go to camp:) At the end of the week, we met up with good friends from preschool that have since moved to the suburbs. We hadn't seen them in a year, so we had a great time catching up! And yesterday, we had a blast at a pool in the suburbs. We love summer!

Abbie joined us at the pool, and captured some amazing moments with her underwater camera!

This is when Maeve started to get tired.

Less than five minutes into the drive home.

Mom and Ella afternoon. We went to the pool, of course. Then the bookstore and ice cream.

She ate it all.

Jack was the most excited about our new vacuum purchase this week.

Jack's turn with Mom. We also went to the pool, but he enjoyed checking out the hoses and drains the most.

Cupcake and ice cream!

We finally got a little pool for the deck. The love it!

She dressed herself.

Ella spent a lot of time organizing the play kitchen. Maeve undid her hard work in about three minutes.

A play date with our old friends from preschool. We had so much fun catching up!

All nine of them!
