In like a lion...

I would have to say last week was quite a bit different depending on which one of us you talked to. Jeritt and his dad hung out in sunny California while the kids and I stayed in chilly Chicago. Based on the photos below, it looks like Jeritt and Al had great time! As for us, another busy week. Due to some kitchen renovations, the kids and I improvised in the basement and ate a lot of sandwiches and pizza. While our week went pretty well, we were all ready to see Jeritt come home!

Playing games with Grandpa Al.

Ella created a GPS system for her bike. She used it on the weekly trip to Starbucks.

Maeve has been the best at getting ready to leave in the mornings.

Ella woke up at 6:30 one morning to make a "dress" for her friend's birthday at school.

Lots of vacuum inspections this week.

When Dad's gone and we have no kitchen, it's pizza for dinner!

Her baby doll is almost as big as she is.

Jack has been very interested in the plumbing under the sink.

Maeve getting ready to go "bye."

Jeritt and Al took a trip to the west coast last week.
Hanging out at the Midway Aircraft Carrier in San Diego

Getting ready for a helicopter ride over the grand canyon.

Race car time!

One last photo before they left.

Snapshots from the Week

Jack loves when Maeve gets to play with him at school for a few minutes during drop-off.

My handsome boy.

Another day, another garbage bag. We walked around the neighborhood picking up trash.

Lunch at Potbelly's.

She got herself in a pickle.

Jack's latest obsession - vacuum cleaners.

One morning this week I came down to find the kitchen converted into a restaurant called "Waves." The chef and waiter were wonderful, and so was the food:)

A trip to the Nature Museum.

Baby after bath.

Practicing her downward facing dog.

This morning Ella was a ballerina, and she had quite a performance for us.

Ella set up her audience.

We spent the morning playing with Jace and Finley!

My buddy:)

Vegging out.
