Pool Days!

What a great week! We continued our tradition from last summer, and Jack and Ella each enjoyed an afternoon solo with Mom. Don't worry, Maeve gets her alone time this entire week, while the big kids go to camp:) At the end of the week, we met up with good friends from preschool that have since moved to the suburbs. We hadn't seen them in a year, so we had a great time catching up! And yesterday, we had a blast at a pool in the suburbs. We love summer!

We Love Summer!

Ah, summer. It's the best. We've been having some fantastic weather in Chicago, and we sure made the most of it this week. New parks, a quick trip to Iowa for the 4th of July, pools, the zoo, ice cream. In this family, we don't waste the day:)

Ella and I got to spend some solo time together one afternoon (thanks, Abbie!). We went swimming, picked out a new book at the toy store, and enjoyed fro-yo.

She couldn't have fit more in this cup. And she ate it all.
