Today is Jeritt's birthday, and since Ella thinks birthday cake is the most important part of a birthday (I would have to agree with her), we've been talking about making him one for a while now. When we picked up the ingredients at Target on Monday, she sang "Happy Birthday Dear Daddy" through the rest of the store. And when we finally made the cake on Friday, she couldn't contain her excitement any longer, which resulted in a frosting-covered little girl. Friday night we celebrated Jeritt's birthday with Aunt Jill, Cousin Reid, Uncle Jeff, and Aunt Kristin. Saturday night was a birthday dinner out with a couple of friends, and today was another family breakfast and a lazy Sunday. Jack has been keeping us extra busy, chasing him off the stairs every few seconds - the boy is persistent! He's also getting brave and standing for a couple of seconds on his own, and pushing toys around, too.
