Spring in Iowa

This past week, the kids and I stayed at my mom and dad's  in Iowa while Jeritt traveled for work. We hadn't been there since November, so it was great to spend time with my grandparents, as well as cousins, aunts, and even Uncle Sam and Brooke, who came to visit for a few days. Spring may have technically arrived, but we didn't see much of it. However, there was one nice day when we spent time outside, and Jack discovered his love of mud puddles. Just like his sister, he's not afraid to get dirty!

Yes, that's a mud mustache. I guess it tastes better than sand.

Ooh, a mud puddle!

Now it's Great Grandma P's turn.

Second cousins! My cousin, Jonna, came to visit with her kids - Blake, Briella, and Brecklyn, and my Aunt Joan.

Decorating (and eating) cookies.

Enjoying a tea party.

And this is Iowa spring. We were greeted with more than 3 inches the morning we left to come home.
