Texas and Iowa

Jeritt and I split the blog work this week, as we spent our weekend in two different states, resulting in lots of photos. Maeve and I traveled to Texas to meet our niece and cousin, Maya. We also got to see Uncle Sam, and of course, Abby and Brian. Maya is so sweet, and we miss her already! Jeritt took Ella and Jack back to Iowa for Edgewood Rodeo Days. As you'll see below, they pretty much packed every possible activity into their weekend. It was good to reunite the family tonight, and now we have a lot of photos to share!

It was only fitting that Aunt Erin took Maeve for her first dip, as she did the same with Ella.

Jack started baseball, and had so much fun!

Maeve and I got to meet Maya!
Uncle Sam meeting Maya.

I couldn't get enough of this.

Maeve loved Maya, too!

Maeve looks like a giant!

Maeve was pretty scared of Gary, the cat. This is what she did every time he got close. I'm sure by the next visit she'll be chasing him around like her big brother and sister!

Those cheeks!

Uncle Brian playing with Maeve.

Maeve was napping, so Gary got in the family photo.

Maeve's first trip to Hop Doddy, an awesome burger place in Austin.

Off to the rodeo.

Off to catch a pig...
Ella didn't last too long.
Off to Bixby state park.

Ice cave

Ella wanted to climb into the jungle

Jack is pretty brave around water now.  He walked straight through without a 2nd thought.
Jack got to drive the gator

Boat ride!  Jack and Ella loved the river.  Jack enjoyed jumping off the boat.
A whole bunch of boating pics.

Digging to China

This is what happens when Grandpa buys the ice cream.
