First Day of Kindergarten

Today was the big day - Ella's first day of kindergarten! After months of anticipation and discussion, multiple play dates with her classmates, and the kindergarten picnic last Thursday, she was totally prepared and she rocked it! We're so proud of her and can't wait to see what this year holds for her. Jack's first day of preschool is next week, so stay tuned for his big day! We had a fantastic Labor Day weekend with my mom and dad. The weather was amazing, and we enjoyed a picnic, parks, the pool, Scooters, breakfast and dinner out, and lots of time together. It was the perfect way to end our great summer, and now we're ready to get into the school routine for fall.

Ella picked up some acorns and convinced Grandma to roast them to eat. Ella actually ate a few!
