Rain, Rain, Go Away

With Jeritt in London all week for work, the last six days were a bit of a blur for me. We have a pretty full schedule lately, so the time passed quickly, and we were excited to welcome him home for the weekend. Unfortunately, it was another cold and rainy weekend, so we spent a lot of time inside playing. As usual, the kids had no shortage of ideas to keep us busy:)

Jeritt left one day too early to catch the Royal Wedding in London.

Painting lady bug houses and fairy gardens outside.

Enjoying a picnic on a nice day.

Picnics with friends are the best!

Jack showing Abbie his beloved train calendar that he received from Uncle Sam.

They made a river... it was very muddy.

Breakfast out with this guy.

And this silly girl.

Jack displaying his goods at the preschool bake sale.

Maeve met another Maeve at the park, and they hit it off.

Making Jack laugh.

One of Jack's many creations.  This one is a furnace.

Proudly wearing her Moana shirt.

Jack is now fixing the toilet...

Little drummer girl.

Jack made a double-deck Airbus 380 plane (just like the one Dad rode on)

Super Ella.

Watching the city workers out front.

Suffocating t-ball defense.

Maeve gave all of her animals food.

She was quite pleased with her work.

Very (very) early Sunday morning reading in our room.

Ella made a horse. She called it Mariella. Ironic, considering that was one of the names we considered for Ella.

Ella made a stable for her horse.
