A Puppy Named Ella

She got a hold of my slippers.

Up on all fours!
Jeritt and I have often debated about getting a dog. Maybe we should have just had kids earlier, because our sweet little daughter resembles a puppy lately. Besides having fluffy, pet-able hair, Ella's pup-like characteristics include the following:
  • Chewing on anything she can get her paws on, most recently my slippers, books, and magazines.
  • Howling with glee when you rub - or blow on - her belly.
  • Whining when she's not getting enough attention (as if this is even possible!).
  • Using all fours to get around.
  • Lapping up her bathwater.
  • A great ability to garner public affection, just like man's best friend.
Yes, we have quite a cuddly ball of love. But unlike her puppy brethren, she doesn't piddle on the floor - yet.
