At nearly seven months, Ella has pretty much mastered the army crawl and sitting up. When she sees something she wants, she finds a way to get there. And in the last few days she's set her sights on the fireplace, the stairs, and other non-baby-friendly targets that we'll need to baby-proof. The day has come, Ella will soon be into everything. She's also becoming frustrated when you take something away from her - seven months going on 15? And while we'd nearly given up on the pureed baby foods - as a result of pursed lips, batting at the spoon, and general disinterest - Ella finally gobbled up some mush this week. And guess what satisfied her picky palate? Prunes! What a silly girl! Over the weekend Uncle Sam and Ashley came to visit and to attend Lollapalooza. Ella also attended her first birthday party, celebrating our good friend Bennett's first birthday!
