Ella, Erin, and I spent last week in Iowa. While I worked Ella was busy having fun with Gramps and Grandma C., and both sets of great-grandparents. Over the week we noticed that she improved her sitting skills and also developed an attention-seeking 'fake' cough. It's quite effective. We arrived home on Friday afternoon, and I'm not sure who was more excited to see who - Dad or Ella. The rest of the weekend was spent trying to beat the heat - outside and indoors - as our air conditioning crapped out, leaving us with one tired, sweaty, crabby baby (and parents). It was repaired this morning, just in time for another mid-90 degree day!
