Ella turned 13 months on Friday, and we celebrated by playing in the snow! Yes, it finally started acting like winter in Chicago, and we bundled up for some fun outside. This was the first time Ella was really aware of the snow, and she wasn't too sure about it when I set her down to walk. It may have been her one-size-too-big boots, but she seemed stuck in her tracks - and a little frustrated! Or, it may have just been the fact that she was so bundled up that she could hardly move. When she fell over in the hallway before we went outside, it reminded me of little Ralphie's kid brother from The Christmas Story. On Saturday morning Cousin Abbie and Eric graciously arranged a photo shoot at Abbie's office downtown, and we captured Ella in action. We had a lot of fun, stay tuned for the results!
