This week Ella picked up a new hygiene habit - washing her hair with marinara sauce during her pasta meal. Of course, we were thrilled by this new development. After all, who doesn't enjoy a good mid-day bath? Maybe she decided it was more fun to play with her food than eat it, because her appetite has definitely decreased lately. We're not sure if it's possibly her 12-month molars, or just the fact that she has better things to do than sit still for a meal, but I'm sure she'll regain her desire for cheese soon. On Friday we hosted a play date at our house and five other babies came over to check out Ella's toys. It was a lot of fun for both of us, and we look forward to more get-togethers. The weekend was pretty low key, with dinner at our friends JoLynn, Adam, and Bennett's, on Friday, and Saturday night Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kristin and Uncle Martin and Aunt Erin came over for dinner, with Jeff and Kristin staying to babysit Ella while we attended a friend's birthday party. And finally, I have to let you all know how helpful Ella is with the laundry. She usually helps me put the clothes in the washing machine, and this week, she decided that her baby monitor needed to be washed as well. Thankfully, I caught it before it made it to the spin cycle!

| Ella and Violet have matching strollers! She seemed to think her big stroller was a new toy, as she pushed it around and filled it with toys, just like she does with her small stroller. |
