Ella the Elephant

Ella is an elephant for Halloween this year, and fortunately, we have lots of opportunities for her to wear her costume, because she absolutely loves it! Every time I've put it on her I've had a hard time getting it off, resulting in an elephant napping in her bed, and negotiated trips to the park. We kicked off the Halloween season with a party on Wednesday at a local play cafe, and continued with trick-or-treating with friends on Saturday. This morning we bundled up for a 'strollers in the front' 5K race by the lake. It was a great event and we had a lot of fun, and I was even able to shuffle through it at 34 weeks preggo. Earlier in the week we celebrated Jeritt's birthday with a dinner at home, and Cousin Abbie, Aunt Erin, Uncle Martin, Aunt Jill, and Cousin Ava (Jill and Ava were in town for the big Justin Bieber concert) were able to join us.

Trying on her costume for the first time.
