This week the kids and I were able to spend some quality time with Cousin Abbie before she and Eric move to Washington, D.C., and we also soaked up some summer fun with Aunt Erin before she returns to school on Monday. As for the weekend, we've been having a great time with Uncle Adam, Aunt Jill, Ava, Reid, and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kristin. On Friday night we BBQ'd at Jeff and Kristin's house and Ella enjoyed another slumber party, and on Saturday we spent most of the day at the pool and then everyone except Jack and me celebrated Uncle Jeff's birthday at Medieval Times. Today was a beach day, and though there was a cool breeze, it made for some awesome waves that the kids loved. I think everyone will sleep well tonight!
