A Visit with Santa

As the kids grow older, we've began to establish a few holiday traditions. One of these includes going downtown to Macy's to see Santa and enjoy lunch at the infamous Walnut Room. Last year the kids and I joined a few other moms and friends for this festive outing, and this year we braved the crowds again. Ella was very excited to see Santa, and possibly even more thrilled to meet the princesses that were granting wishes during lunch. We were all pretty tired afterward, but it was very worth it! One of our long-standing traditions is to host an annual holiday party. This year was our sixth event, and Jeritt even dressed up like Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation to get in the holiday spirit.
For whatever reason, Ella and Jack were playing a game in which they wore slippers and backpacks.

Our own Cousin Eddie at our annual holiday party.

We stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a post-hair cut treat (Ella got a hair cut).

Walking through Santa's Workshop with her friend, Anna.

Jack didn't like being restrained.

Ella made a picture and letter for Santa. He read it out loud and thanked her.

Trying to get a good selfie at the holiday lunch.

A princess granted wishes at our table - Ella was very excited!
