Thanksgiving in Iowa

Per the title of this post, we spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Iowa - hitting both sides of the family. The kids really enjoyed a trip to the farm with Grandpa and Grandma V., and Uncle Don, as well as getting to know their new cousin, Gary, the recently adopted feline of Uncle Brian and Aunt Abby.

Jack's favorite book is a picture book of different kinds of construction equipment. He was pretty excited to ride in his first skid steer with Grandpa Rich.

They both loved feeding the cows.

Ella really loved hanging out with Gary the cat. She pretended to be his Mommy, and bossed him around like the real deal.

Sorry, Abby. Gary looks to be tired of this charade.

More cow feeding.

Playing beauty shop with Aunt Abby.

The Texas was the only one brave enough to play in the snow!

Great Grandpa and Grandma P. and all of their great-grandchildren.

With all of the grandchildren and spouses.

The whole family.

We all separately bought these shirts, not even planning it. That calls for a picture.

Grandma C. made Jack a truck cake!
