April Fool's Day

A happy belated April Fool's Day to you all! The kids and I truly embraced the day and played pranks on each other and Dad. We frosted a cookie with a combination of sour cream, cream cheese, flour, and garlic salt, and while Jack was totally in on the joke, he still asked for half of it. To end the day, we played a game the kids received called "Bean Boozled." If you're not familiar, it's a game where jelly beans look like normal flavors, but some of them are extremely gross flavors such as boogers, dog food, skunk spray, and barf. The kids begged for days to play it, but I convinced them to wait until Jeritt could join us. I honestly thought Jack's love of jelly beans would cause him to eat all of them, but even he was grossed out. While Maeve didn't partake in the jelly bean game, she did get to try her first "food" this weekend. Ella was the most excited, and Maeve was such a good sport, but it will probably be a while before she's gobbling down food.

After more than six months of planning, we finally finished the gallery wall of photos!

After a day of snow we enjoyed 60 degree weather. Tomorrow it's supposed to be a high of 37. What?!
