Spring Break

Between the kids being on spring break from school, our kitchen floor being redone, and Jeritt traveling, this was a crazy week. Without a kitchen, we spent a lot of time out of the house and managed to eat pizza four out of six nights for dinner (the kids loved it!). We also had a sleepover at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kristin's, which allowed some fun cousin time. It was a busy week, but we squeezed in plenty of play dates with friends we hadn't seen in a while and spent a lot of time enjoying the weather. Maeve also tried food again. While she showed more interest, she still didn't really understand (or care) how to swallow it.

The first really warm day of the year means saying "yes" when the ice cream truck pulls up to the park.

Poor Maeve, between construction and beautiful weather, she had to nap in the stroller.

What's in that popsicle?!

Mommy/Ella date night! She picked our outfits.

And the purse she packed earlier in the day included a set of keys to "lock" the door. Side note, mom forgot Ella's purse at the restaurant. Oops, good thing we live close by!

My beautiful girl.
Jack and Dad went to Potbelly for their dinner date.

No kitchen means dining al fresco!

Jack was inspired by the construction in the house.

Finely did not at all push Maeve over, but I think it's pretty funny that it looked like it! Maeve is so close to sitting, but still pretty wobbly.

They are going to be best buddies.

Jace and Jack playing in Jace's cool backyard.

At least one of them is smiling!

Happy girl.

Ella took this picture of Maeve eating squash.

Maeve and our friend, Lowan.

The "before" kitchen floor.

The "after," minus the toe kicks we need to add under the cabinets.
