Austin!

Last night we returned from our annual winter trip to Austin, Texas, to visit Aunt Abby, Uncle Brian, Maya, and Gary (the cat). Once again, we really lucked out with some amazing weather. And we made the most of the sunshine with plenty of park trips, a picnic, and golf. We spent Sunday morning at the Thinkery, Austin's children's museum. The kids were great travelers, and we couldn't ask for better hosts. We're already looking forward to next year's trip!

Meeting the pilots.

Flying the plane!
Just doing some light reading.

Starting the trip with a visit to this crazy place!

Maeve had a blast.

Pushing Maya in the swing.

Big girl!

What a silly boy.

She insisted on bringing her cowboy boots. "Mom, it's Texas!"

Maya and her mama.

We checked out the Thinkery on Sunday, which is a pretty cool children's museum.

Going on a hike.

Maeve needs to learn to share. Fortunately, Maya wasn't too bothered.

Setting up scenery for her puppet show.

Maeve got a little jealous of Maya at times.
