Happy Memorial Day!

Contrary to the past few weeks, the weather finally cooperated, which led to a great Memorial Day weekend.  We took advantage and hit a few parks on Saturday, and then Jeritt and I had a nice dinner with friends that evening. On Sunday, we did a few things around the house (such as putting together Maeve's big girl bed) and then went a friend's BBQ. On Monday, we spent the morning and afternoon at Jeff and Kristen's and ended the day with a trip to Scooters. Maeve may have set a record for eating a toddler cone. She finished her cone before we even received our order.

Maeve can pretty much get into everything.

Maeve has subtlety told us she is ready for a big girl bed.

A man's man.  Fixing the vacuum shirtless.

Ella the veterinarian.

Just chillin' on the couch (with one of his many straws).

Cousin Abbie hung out with us a few times over the week, and captured some great moments.

Piano practice with a 6-year and an 18-month old.  Piece of cake.

Future duets!

Ella made a portrait of me and Jeritt.

So handsome.

One of the many parks during the weekend.

Ella playing with our friend's baby, Sydney.

This guy.

Playing at Jeff' and Kristen's house.

Maeve looking for Ella after the bath.  The following photos appear as if they are videos, but they aren't. Technical difficulties!

Jack and Ella had to clean their bikes.

Ella used the tree trimmings from the front of the house to decorate her play area.

Enjoying some cat time.  This is the only 1 of the 3 that would cooperate.

Jack and Ella wanted to make a candy cake for Marla's (the pony) birthday.

Hanging out at Jeff and Kristen's house.

Scooter's!  We didn't have the camera in time but Maeve ate her entire cone before the rest of us received our ice cream.
