Sisters and Cousins

Our house was bursting with even more energy and enthusiasm this past week, as Aunt Abby and Maya and Aunt Erin and Alice came to visit. Jeritt was traveling all week, so the timing was perfect for some extra company. It was so wonderful to have both of my sisters and their sweet baby girls around. And while Abby and Maya didn't get the cooler fall temps they were hoping for (it was as hot as Texas in Chicago!), we still spent plenty of time outdoors. Jeritt returned on Friday night, and today we enjoyed one final morning at the beach.
Maya wasn't sure she should let this strange-looking girl in the house.
Uncle Jeritt meeting Alice.

Maya making herself at home.

We celebrated the warm weather with a trip to Scooter's.

Maya got in on a lot of park action.

Aunt Abby and Alice.

What a sweetie!

Maeve and Maya are quite the buddies.

Mother/daughter matching outfits.

Maeve thought she needed to make use of Alice's bassinet.

I attended Curriculum Night at Ella's school and was impressed by how much her drawing has improved!

Maeve helped keep Alice happy during tummy time.

Maeve loves her gymnastics class.

A picnic at a park.

Another day, another matching outfit.

Feeding time.

He's a great shopper when he can have samples.

Patiently waiting for donuts.

An unexpected last day at the beach.
