Winter is Coming

What a difference a week makes! With the drop in temperature, we've been spending a lot more time indoors, and we even saw snow this past weekend in Iowa. We made a quick trip back to visit family, and were able to also attend a high school football game at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, where Jeritt and I met and later married. It was fun to show the kids where it all began!

Maeve enjoyed a rare solo trip to the Children's Museum with her pal, Avery.

Ella and I dressed like twins. Maeve can't miss an opportunity to get her photo taken.

All dressed up.

She added a hat.

We made a trip back to Iowa, and Jeritt's high school was playing a state football game at the UNI dome, where we attended college. We had a great time showing the kids where we met and married:)

Snuggles during the football game.

Ella got bored with football and started reading.

Jack watched train videos.

Maeve was a monkey.

Go cart rides with cousins!

Maeve made Ava her horsey.

Ella got to take home this old hat of Ava's. She's a huge fan and hasn't stopped wearing it since.

Iowa football with Grandpa Al.

Maeve kept Grandpa busy playing.

Farm time with Grandpa Rich.

Cousin breakfast!

On our wedding day, Jeritt and I had our photo taken in this spot. We used to spend a lot of time at the OP in Cedar Falls.

Ella enjoying a kiddie cocktail after the game.
Back home, we made home made play dough.

Movie time with Mom.

Aunt Jill bought Jack a new dryer vent for his early birthday present. He loves it.
