Jeritt's Birthday

Today was Jeritt's birthday, and we celebrated with Grandma and Papa, who came out for a weekend visit. It was great having them here, and hopefully they'll be back soon! Last weekend Ella and I traveled to St. Louis to meet our new nephew, Jerome. Jeritt, Jack, and Maeve spent their time in Iowa with Grandpa Rich.

Jack was waiting for his friend to show up.

We volunteered to make a meal at a men's homeless shelter.  Photos below..
Making corn bread.

Chopping up carrots.

Making place mats.

Rolling out the desserts.

Future pizza maker.

Doing some "homework."

Breakfast out with Dad.

Base of the triangle building.

Ella's latest sewing project - a book bag to carry her homework.

We went back to Edgewood last weekend.  Plenty of time with Aunt Annette's kittens.

I couldn't tell which one was the cutest so I put them all in.

We stopped by Aunt Jane's on the way home.  Maeve was a handful.

Jack made himself at home very quickly.

Jack had a lot of fun with Jane.

Jack's ear.

Maeve had a tea party with Simon.

Another one of Ella's sewing creations  Cat pajamas.

Jack, Ella, and Maeve made a painting.  I put a frame around it and took a photo.  Jack agreed that it resembles a Jackson Pollock.

Fun at the park.

Making her own birthday cake.

Maeve enjoying her latest "Grumpy Cat" book from the library.
What a handsome kitty.

Trying on glasses with Grandma.

Maeve's preschool class took a field trip to the fire station.

Ella and Liz made a trip to St. Louis to meet Baby Jerry - he's so sweet!

Ella is such a good big cousin to Alice.
