Maeve is 4!

It's been another busy couple of weeks around here. After 11 days, the Chicago teacher strike ended and the kids are back in school. We also celebrated Maeve's 4th birthday with family and friends. How is our baby four years old already?!

Jack was not too happy that he still had homework despite no school.

Circus in the Park

Fun in the alley.

Our house for Halloween.  Very spooky.

Volunteering at a cat shelter.  Making a home for a feral cat.

Taking a tour after
Hanging out at Uncle Jeff's new house.

Birthday pancakes.

Another quick run downtown to see skyscrapers.

These two were the reason we went. The Aqua Tower (Wavy Building) and the Blue Cross building.

Ella made a Pinata for Maeve's birthday.  It was pretty good.

Lots of golf lately.

I took the kids to work while the teachers were on strike.

Homework at work.

Halloween cat.

His putting has greatly improved

Jack's first trip to the Bean (that he actually remembers)

Photos from the garden area near Millennium Park.

Jack's first piano lesson. He was very excited.

Maeve and her purr-fect birthday cake, made by Grandma!

How is this girl four years old?!

A cat, a mermaid, and a mermaid cat.

Grossed out by the pumpkin guts.

Ella missed her field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry due to the strike, so on Halloween, a bunch of the students went anyway.

The Halloween parade at school.
