Jack's two-month doctor's appointment was this past week, and just as we suspected, he's surpassed what Ella weighed at this age. He is 11 pounds, 8 ounces, and 23 inches long! The vaccine shots were pretty awful (partially because we're just not used to him being anything but happy and mellow), but he's doing great in his growth and development. The rest of the week was pretty low-key, with a lot of time spent indoors and a few play dates along the way. Tonight we celebrated Cousin Abbie's birthday a little early with Jeff, Kristin, Erin, Martin, and Eric. Jack was a trooper, and Ella was, well, a two-year-old:)
