A Weekend with Gumma and Papa

We've had a busy wedding season, and this past weekend Jeritt and I traveled to St. Louis for the wedding of our friends, Jamie and Meghan. Fortunately, Grandma (Gumma, according to Jack) and Papa C. were able to come and stay with the kids. It sounds like they had a great weekend, and so did we!

Another day, another outfit.

On top of watching our kids, Grandma and Papa also fixed our ceiling. How lucky are we?!

And then Papa needed a nap.

Martin's mom, Linda, was in town and joined the crew for dinner. Then Ella talked her into making a ghost costume!

Papa brought a "flying machine" that was a huge hit all weekend. Besides Ella and Jack, every other kid at the park loved it!

Earlier in the week, Ella took a theater class at the Lincoln Park Cultural Center and Jack and I played at a new park in the area.

She was getting married this day. To herself, she said.

Sara also came to visit over the weekend!

Ella was camping on the roof. She really wanted to sleep up there, too.

It was only a matter of time before he donned his first princess dress!
