Perhaps you noticed a missing blog post last week. It's because the kids and I spent a week at Grandma and Grandpa C's house in Iowa. Despite a couple of really rough drives (Maeve is not a fan of the car seat), we had a wonderful visit. Fishing; pony rides; camping; s'mores; ice cream; swimming at a pool and a lake; visits with great grandparents and my good friend, Allison; a truck show; the county fair; and lots of two-wheel bike practice for Ella. Summertime in Iowa is pretty hard to beat, and we had a blast!
