It was another beautiful weekend in Chicago, and without many plans, we enjoyed a relaxing few days, mostly spent outside. The highlight of the weekend was definitely our trip to Maggie Daley park downtown. We'd heard that it is amazing, with the caveat, that it's also pretty intense and easy to lose children. Both are true. It was hands down the coolest park we've ever seen, and the kids loved it and could have stayed all day. However, after losing Jack twice, my stress level was too high to risk a third panic attack, so we called it a day and picnicked on the way home. Earlier in the week, we said our dreaded goodbyes to Uncle Martin and Aunt Erin, as they packed up and moved to St. Louis. We're going to miss them more than words can express, but we're excited for their next adventure and look forward to visiting them in their new city!
