Last weekend we celebrated Aunt Jill's big 4-0 in Chicago, and this weekend we attended the annual Kunde family reunion. We hadn't been in a couple of years, and this time Jack was old enough to fully enjoy all of the fun the event offers. In other updates, Maeve is officially on the move. She's not quite crawling, but she's definitely capable of getting to where she wants to be. And Ella completed a week of camp at the Field Museum/Adler Planetarium/Shedd Aquarium. It was her first time attending anywhere for a full day, and while she was exhausted each afternoon, it was a good warm-up to kindergarten. It was helpful for me, too, to see what life will be like getting three kids out the door in time for school each morning. But for now, we have a full month left of summer to enjoy!

| Beach time with the cousins! |
| Ella's first day of camp, she loved the crafts! |
| On Day 2 she came down with her camp t-shirt tied up on the side. All on her own. What a fashionista. |
| Jack helping with the watering. |
| When big sister gets to go to camp, little bro gets donuts. |
| The much-loved slip and slide at the family reunion. |
| Ella did all the shopping as I had Jack and Maeve in the double stroller She put all the groceries in her cart and then paid with the credit card. |
| Getting her face painted by the Princess at Hazel's birthday party. |
| Ella was a train conductor pulling a "train". |
| Ella and Jack wanted to help open the wine. |
| Jack obviously wanted to smell the wine. He has an impressive sense of smell. |
| Pool time! |
| Jack has really become more comfortable in the water. He was a fan of the water slide. |
