Above are pictures of Ella at 18 weeks, as well as from our weekend trip to Iowa for Uncle Sam's college graduation. Even though she refused to close her little peepers in the car, Ella did pretty well during the long drive. We spent the first part of the weekend in Des Moines, and were able to spend some great time with friends and family. On Sunday we drove to Iowa City for Sam's graduation ceremony. Ella was so enthralled (and sleepy, due to her napping strike) that she conked out toward the end. We're looking forward to her doctor's appointment on Friday, hopefully he'll be able to offer some advice regarding how to get our very alert baby to nap during the day!
