Ella is 5!

Yesterday was Ella's 5th birthday, so we celebrated all weekend. It began with a morning of swimming with Dad on Saturday, her first pedicure with Mom and Erin that afternoon, and a family dinner with Erin and Martin and Jeff, Kristin, Jace, and Finely. On Sunday Ella got a candle in her pancake, and after soccer we hosted a princess birthday party with five of her girl friends. They made tiaras, pinned the crown on the princess, and dined on a Cinderella birthday cake (made by Grandma, of course!) and pink lemonade. She was exhausted by bedtime, but said it was the best birthday yet. It's crazy to think we've been parents for five years already, and to see Maeve and remember Ella being that little not that long ago. Time flies when you're having fun!

I made my  first trip alone to Target with all three. It wasn't as scary as it looks.

A princess birthday party!

After a weekend of celebrating Ella's birthday, Jack declared Monday Brownie's birthday, complete with cupcakes.

Last week Ella set up a photo shoot to use her toy camera. So I used mine, too:)

This is about as close as Jack will get to Maeve. Not her biggest fan yet.
