Bake Sale and Besties

One of my favorite things about the kids' preschool is the annual bake sale. Each student brings a few treats to sell, and all proceeds go to an area food pantry. It's really cute to see the kids so proudly selling their wares, and we had a lot of fun making our goods. Over the weekend, my best friend from college, Angie, came to visit. We try to make a trip to see each other once a year, so this was her first time meeting Maeve. It was so great to see her and catch up, and the kids loved having her here. We also enjoyed a beautiful weekend under our new pergola. We're ready for summer!

School pics - what great friends these two are!

There are a lot of great Jack faces in this post. Here's the first one.

Maeve riding the rocking panda. She really liked it!

A sister picnic.

Making worms and dirt for the bake sale. Jack was more interested in eating it, of course.

A Chuck E. Cheese birthday party.

Ready for customers at the bake sale!

It was ironic that he chose the worms and dirt to eat, as he also enjoys eating real dirt. So gross.

A little dirty and very tired.

Happy girl!

Angie offered to buy them lemonade.
