For any of you that know my mom, you are aware that she loves nothing more than spending time with her family and completing a project. Therefore, it was only fitting that my parents spend Mother's Day weekend helping us with yet another home improvement endeavor while simultaneously visiting their grandchildren and three out of four of their kids. Mom's and Dad's talent and hard work never cease to amaze me, and with the assistance of Uncle Sam and Jeritt, they built a beautiful pergola over our garage roof deck. The weather was fantastic, and by Sunday evening, we were enjoying the warm breeze under the finished product. Jeritt and the kids also made me feel special with a delicious breakfast and gifts. And on Friday, I joined Ella and Jack at preschool for a Mother's Day tea. It was a wonderful weekend, and as a mother and a daughter, I'm feeling very blessed:)
